A frequent train service stops at most towns along the coast of the French Riviera, and extends eastwards to the Italian town of Ventimiglia. Buses provide additional links to the hinterland. Most places are accessible by public transport.

The beautiful light and colour of the Cote d'Azur has inspired many artists. I photo-edited many of the photos in this weblog entry to enhance light and colour balance without altering the composition and line of the pictures (using Picasa - a Google freeware), so as to achieve a paint-on-canvas effect.
